The key person behind the Sinar Jaya Group is its founding Director Mr. Rajakumaran who has successfully build up the business through his diligence and leadership.
Mr. Raja took the first step towards this career direction when he enrolled with the Negeri Agro Industrial Training Complex to pursue a course in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration. He acquired skills in all aspects of refrigeration systems including electrical wiring, servicing techniques, fiting & tubing work and other basic technical skills. His skills were further refined during the next few years when he worked as a Technician for several leading airconditioning companies.
At the young age of 25, Mr. Raja had already recognized that there were opportunities to earn more though his own business and he duly registered the business of Sinar Jaya Air- Conditioning & Electrical Works in 1986. What began as a small enterprise doing odd jobs for friends and the domestic market in Kiang, soon grew into a reasonable size business doing sub-contract work for offices and factories
In 1989, he made the next bold move by going into his own business full-time and seting up a permanent office at shop 205, Jalan Kastam, Port Klang. Not long thereatier, he achieved the first breakthrough in business when he was appointed as subcontractor for the airconditioning work at the Istana, His reputation for quality workmanship was established and from then on, business just grew and grew.
Within ten years, he bought over the present office address and established branches at Shah Alam, Malacca, Seremban & Johor Bahru. The business is now expected to reach RM 2.0 million by year-end 2000.
Not withstanding his busy work schedules, Mr. Rajakumaran is also the person behind Inbam Resources, an organization started by him to help the Indian Business community network amongst itself and grow together. The first Indian Business scheduled for 10th December 2000 where thousands of Gathering took place on 1st July 2000 and the next is delegates from all over the country are expected to attend.
This is the leadership quality that has made him successful today. He is willing to share this with others and at the same time continue to learn & acquire knowledge from business associated that would surely bring more benefit to the Sinar Jaya Group.
